The project sought to enhance volumes of the building by inserting it in a corner lot, relatively small, but with full visibility. Create a light and bright environment that fusion the surroundings, bringing contemporaneity, boldness, and sophistication to the hospital.
To do this, the office designed an open ground floor with a setback full off gardens and a building made of volumes and transparencies: an invitation to bring the public space to the hospital. Thus, whoever is inside the building can see the outside, but also privacy is guaranteed by the treatment given to screen-printed glass. The colors and natural light in the internal environments create a sensation of lightness and well-being, essential elements to humanize healing environments.
Having flexibility as a fundamental premise guarantees excellent performance and a building ready for specialties and technological innovations in medical equipment.
Perdizes Advanced Unit was created to offer comprehensive health services and specialized care. It includes an emergency room, diagnostic center, women’s health space, an oncology center, and Day Clinic with a low complexity surgical center and some short-term beds.
