Vila Santa Catarina Municipal Hospital is a public-private partnership between the City of São Paulo and Albert Einstein Hospital. The private institution is responsible for administering this highly complex hospital that serves patients through the Unified Health System (SUS).

Based on the institution’s interest in establishing this partnership, Levisky Arquitetos developed the Hospital Master Plan, which defines the new intended assistance program, sizing, and occupation of the existing building.

To meet the assistance, functional and operational demands, in addition to the spatial adaptations of the building, the renovation project and its strategic planning foresee adaptations and extensions to ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, building, and sanitary standards, as well as redefining hospital flows and segregation.
